The Denneboom Olive Oil is an award-winning, locally made, cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil, made from Mission trees which were first planted in the 1950s. The trees are still harvested the old-fashioned way - hand-picked at the end of the summer, while the olives are cold-pressed in small batches, ensuring that they meet the high standards associated with natural preservative-free olive oils.
The olive oil is fruity and herbaceous with middle notes of almond and pine seed with a mild sweet finish. Perfectly matched with fresh tomatoes and burrata, as a dressing on a fresh green salad, or for rounding out flavours when cooking – this olive oil is one of the best in the Paarl valley.
